Annette has been interested and inspired ever since her childhood exposure, and her passion for traditional medicine continued more concertedly in her early twenties while undergoing treatments for Bells Palsy, which she recovered from very quickly with the help of acupuncture and Chinese herbs. From this experience, Annette realized the importance of incorporating multiple modalities into healthcare. Now a licensed practitioner, Annette is constantly amazed at how effective Chinese Medicine can be.

In her free time, Annette enjoys being outdoors especially when she can incorporate exercise through bootcamps, running, and hiking. She also loves to dance and has competed in West Coast Swing for the last 16 years. Most of all, Annette enjoys being a mom to her 4 month old baby boy Louka and her 22 lb cat named Zeus.
